Ball Type Float Shoe

Industrial Rubber's Regular Float Shoe is a ball-type float shoe.

The float ball is made of high density phenolic for strength and resistance to abrasion, even when subjected to long periods of pumping abrasive materials. The ball seat, a rubber O-Ring located in an aluminum disk, is designed to be out of the flow path of circulating fluids so that it can not wash out.

The ball is guided into the seat by aluminum guide fins
which are an integral part of the guide nose.

The fins not only guide the ball, but also direct the flow
 of cement slurry evenly around the shoe for a better cementing job.

Ball Type Float Collar

Industrial Rubber's Regular Float Collar employs the same ball and
seat design as used in the Regular Float Shoe.
 
The ball is held in place by a cage mounted on the underside of the seat. Adequate flow passages and abrasion resistant materials assures positive ball seating even after long periods of pumping abrasive materials.

Male bottom threads and female top threads are provided for convenience in making up on the casing string. This collar can be run above any guide shoe or float shoe.
