Everything for Oilwell Cementing
Flapper Type Float Shoe Industrial Rubber Flapper Type Float Shoes are designed for use where spring-loaded float equipment is required, including wells where the hole is not filled with fluid prior to running casing, and for use where circulation is not needed to wash away bridges or condition the hole prior to cementing. The flapper valve consists of a baffle plate with a hinged aluminum flapper valve door that is seated firmly against a rubber seat by a valve spring. Circulation through the shoe opens the flapper valve, and when circulation is stopped, the spring-loaded flapper valve door closes against the valve seat to provide a firm seal against backpressure. Flapper-Type Float Shoes are available in 2 7/8" to 13 3/8" sizes. Flapper Type Float Collar Industrial Rubber Flapper Type Float Collars use the same flapper valve and valve seat construction that is used in IRI Flapper Type Float Shoes. Flapper Type Float Collars can be run above any IRI Float Shoe or Guide Shoe; pin down and box up threads are provided for convenience in making up on the casing string. The collar design permits the use of tripping balls to actuate down hole equipment if necessary.
